Why everyone isn't a little ADHD

One major issue which people tend to do with Stigma, especially adhd. Is treating it as if it is nothing more than being distracted by shiny things, or an excuse for being lazy.

Considering that it is neither of those things or anything else other than a valid medical condition. Keep these simple picture in mind, and the following points regarding the person giving advice.

  • How intelligent do they look, not very. When they give you the exact same advice regarding adhd or other mental health issues. They look just as intelligent as the guy in this meme
  • Does that person sound like they should be giving advice. No, just like anyone who isn't a qualified medical professional. Should not be acting as if they are an expert, on something they have absolutely no education and understanding of.
  • Listening to people like this is the same logic as someone saying that rolling your car window down. Is how you fix a flat tire, because tire companies just want your money.
  • Unfortunately not everyone has the self awareness and self acceptance, of not realizing just how little they know. Don't let these people dictate your life especially when it comes to dealing with your treatment
