The Frustrations of friends and family and Living with a Mental Health Issue

One thing I've noticed, as a person with ADHD and even though I have a Psychology Degree. People tend to notice your illness and the things that go along with it, and disregard your actual education. Having ADHD, I think that is one of my biggest pet peeves. How people tend to only understand you on a surface level. Some days it's more annoying  than others, but really when it comes to it there's a few things that I keep in mind. Another person's ignorance and lack of understanding, comes from there inability to understand. Adhd and the Obsolete Myths That Surround It

Msisconceptions of ADHD is something I have a fair bit of experience in dealing with. Due to having ADHD. I understand the daily frustrations that they have to unfairly endure throughout their lives.  While additionally debunking these irrelevant myths, and showing that they're based on absolutely nothing other than obsolete information and stereotypes, is something that we all should be doing. In today's world there should be absolutely no place for stigma, but the unfortunate truth is that it's everywhere. Stigma can potentially wreak havoc in that person's life, and be almost impossible to overcome.  Opinions regarding your treatment, whether it's medical, therapeutic or pharmaceutical aspects.
