Being Resilient: It's not about going through something, it's more about how you go through it

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!” ― Sylvester Stallone, Rocky Balboa

Let's talk about resilience using a quote from one of my favourite movies Rocky. What makes you resilient, is going through something in a positive way. While learning from it there is proper ways in life to deal with things and there's also bad ways. Instead of using it as an excuse for lashing out at the world.
When people don't have the proper self awareness, and don't take ownership of their own lack of progress. Especially when they do absolutely nothing besides resist and ignore their doctor's advice. The onus is on them as to why they are in the position, they are in. Taking advice from people like that, is just as harmful as taking advice from a person who thinks psychology and psychological issues are figments of our imagination. Especially when they are using their experiences, as a way to validate what they are recommending for you to do

Remember you are what you let into your own life, and how you let it in.
